Supplier Performance Agent

We are looking for a Supplier Performance Agent to join a dynamic and expanding team in Montreal.

Responsibilities:

• Perform source inspection at the supplier to evaluate the quality of system components
• Lead quality review with suppliers
• Request detailed corrective actions to the supplier for repetitive issues
• Evaluate the overall quality of supplier performance
• Initiate corrective actions request for repetitive issues
• Provide visibility on the open actions & follow-up (PowerPoint presentation) to management

Qualifications:

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Technical degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience
• You have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in supplier quality and/or quality assurance
• You have experience in the Aerospace industry (preferred)
• You have strong leadership, problem-solving, flexibility and project management skills
• You have experience in supplier intervention
• You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in French and English
• You have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• You are flexible, available and you can travel locally and internationally, sometimes with short notice
• ASQ certification, 6 sigma Experience in Quality Assurance
• Aerospace experience
• Demonstrated problem-solving capability
• High-pressure environment
• Project management skills in quality
• Root cause analysis
