  • Perform thermodynamic analyses to support the design and development of aircraft systems (environmental control systems, propulsion interfaces, heat exchangers, cooling systems, etc.)
  • Develop and validate thermal models, energy balance calculations, and system performance predictions
  • Analyze heat transfer, fluid flow, and system interactions under various operating conditions
  • Support system integration activities by evaluating thermal impacts and ensuring compliance with engineering requirements
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation related to thermal performance
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance
  • Participate in design reviews, safety assessments, and certification activities
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to thermal modeling, simulation tools, and engineering processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a focus on thermodynamics
  • Experience in thermodynamic analysis, heat transfer, or fluid dynamics (aerospace experience is an asset)
  • Strong understanding of thermal systems, energy cycles, and heat transfer mechanisms
  • Proficiency with modeling and simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, Python, ANSYS, or equivalent)
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, system schematics, and technical documentation
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
  • Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
