As the Material Master Data Stream Lead reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, you
will oversee project planning, execution, and completion. Key responsibilities include
coordinating teams, managing resources, maintaining stakeholder communication,
identifying and mitigating risks, and driving material master maintenance with defined data
governance practices. You will engage key data SMEs, support data migration, and
establish governance and data quality requirements.
You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects,
ensuring they align with organizational goals. Your role will involve coordinating teams,
managing resources, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. You will
also be responsible for identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate
them.
• Drive simplified and common material master maintenance processes across the
organization with defined data governance practices.
• Identify key data SMEs by domain ownership (like sales, product development,
engineering, compliance etc.,) and engage them appropriately to have a compliant
material master maintenance and governance process.
• Support different stages of data migration like data mapping, data validations for
Mock data loads and production data loads.
• Support identification and definition of business-critical fields and help establish
governance and data quality requirements for critical fields.
Requirements:
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology,
Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10 years) in project management and system integration
initiatives within complex organizations.
• You have good knowledge of PLM, ERP, and specifically Material Master
functionality, and integration capabilities.• You have excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management
skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-
technical audiences and gain buy-in for integration initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to inspire and motivate
teams, drive change, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and
innovation.
• You have a proven ability to develop and capitalize on new business opportunities,
set business goals and deliver on plans.
• You can work in French and English on a daily basis.
• You are able to work on-site at one of our facilities in Montreal at least twice per
week during the early phase of the project, and more often as needed.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.
