We are looking for a detail‑driven and proactive Structural Quality Agent to join our aerospace team in Mirabel. In this role, you will ensure that all structural assemblies, components, and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to identify issues, support corrective actions, and maintain excellence throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on structural components, assemblies, and installations to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Conduct in‑process and final quality checks on aircraft structures
- Identify, document, and report non‑conformities using approved quality systems
- Support root‑cause analysis and assist in developing corrective and preventive actions
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve structural quality issues
- Verify that manufacturing processes follow approved procedures and regulatory requirements
- Participate in audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all work meets internal, customer, and regulatory quality requirements
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve structural quality and process efficiency
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering (or related field)
- Experience in structural inspection, quality control, or aerospace manufacturing
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, structural blueprints, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of aircraft structures, materials, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with quality tools such as root‑cause analysis, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high accuracy
- Must be fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an aerospace OEM or MRO environment
- Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, gauges, templates, etc.)
- Understanding of regulatory standards (TCCA, FAA, EASA)
- Experience with non‑conformity management systems
