Key responsibilities
-Track non-quality issues from the Customer Service organization through to Procurement, Plants, and Final Assembly Lines (FAL).
-Launch corrective actions for in-service non-conformity “escapes” (A/C structure, systems—including electrical and nacelles—and cabin).
-Strengthen links between Procurement, Quality, and Customer Services organizations; participate in weekly meetings with representatives (Procurement, Customer Service, Production, Program, and Engineering) to update actions and share information.
-Provide regular performance dashboards with all relevant KPIs to monitor actions and process compliance.
-Participate in technical meetings to identify root causes, link information to existing corrective actions, and contribute to the feedback loop.
-Manage risks, customer protection, and communication, finding the right balance between delivery constraints, quality risks, engineering assessments, and customer service requirements.
-Communicate status updates regularly to manufacturing, engineering, delivery teams, and customer service to support client communications.
-Minimize Airbus’ exposure during the delivery and in-service phases.
-Publish Quality Program KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis.
Required qualifications
-Education: University degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial) or similar, or significant relevant professional experience.
-Knowledge: Strong understanding of aircraft structures and/or systems, ideally with experience in Quality, Program, Supplier Quality, or Customer Service.
-Analytical Skills: Readiness to perform detailed data analysis.
-Technical Tools: Experience with Salesforce, Google Suite, Skywise, etc. (an asset).
-Project Management: Proven experience in project management (an asset).
