Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install structural components such as fuselage sections, wings, and control surfaces.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Perform drilling, riveting, fastening, and sealing operations using specialized tools.
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or technical certificate in aerospace or manufacturing (college-level training preferred).
  • 2–4+ years of experience in structural assembly, ideally in aerospace or high-spec industrial environments.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with sheet metal work, riveting, and use of precision tools.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Bilingual (French & English) required for Mirabel roles.
  • Eligibility: Candidates must be Canadian citizens or hold a Permanent Resident card or Open Work Permit.
