Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install structural components such as fuselage sections, wings, and control surfaces.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Perform drilling, riveting, fastening, and sealing operations using specialized tools.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical certificate in aerospace or manufacturing (college-level training preferred).
- 2–4+ years of experience in structural assembly, ideally in aerospace or high-spec industrial environments.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with sheet metal work, riveting, and use of precision tools.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Bilingual (French & English) required for Mirabel roles.
- Eligibility: Candidates must be Canadian citizens or hold a Permanent Resident card or Open Work Permit.
