JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Methods Agent to add his/her expertise to our team.
Responsibilities
- Correct assembly specifications or manufacturing lists for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components;
- Interpret, verify and approve drawings and other documents from the engineering department;
- Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components;
- Define the tools required for the manufacture or assembly of aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing;
- Harmonize the implementation of engineering changes or assembly strategies, working in close collaboration with the engineering, materials logistics, quality and production departments;
- Take an active part in production support by coordinating the resolution of technical problems with other support departments;
- Be on the lookout for ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies, and take part in research and development projects;
- Support the Central Methods team in carrying out their projects;
- Update the Methods documentation tree, SAP analysis identify needs and optimize production;
- Eliminate non-value added;
- Establish requirements for manpower, tooling, assembly, layout plan, ergonomics and health/safety, tools and production equipment according to optimal methodology;
- Participate in the development and optimization of processes related to the Methods function;
- Audit certain processes to validate their proper functioning and provide certain recommendations;
- Manage projects of short and/or medium duration and complexity.
Skills and qualifications
- You have a college or university diploma in mechanical, avionics, electrical, industrial or electromechanical engineering, aeronautical manufacturing or a related discipline;
- You are comfortable reading technical drawings and have good 3D visualization and analytical skills;
- You are logical and mechanically minded;
- You are familiar with Ms Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
- You are familiar with computer-aided drafting software such as Catia, AutoCad, Enovia, etc.;
- You are familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP, etc.;
- You have an excellent team spirit, and are recognized for your perseverance and judgment;
- Bilingualism (French – English) in oral and written communication is a major asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer site and technical documentation.

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in Aerospace
